Sensory Tour and Artist Talk - Pepper St Gallery

  • Pepper St Gallery 558 Magill Road Magill, SA, 5072 Australia (map)

If fabrics could speak, what stories would they tell? Catherine explores her memories of her dressmaker mother in this artist talk and Sensory Tour.

You will be able to touch, many of the fabrics and items used to create her still life paintings, scent and even taste the lush fruit she painted.

No need to book, just come. Although designed for the vision impaired and blind community, everyone is welcome.

The entire exhibition is Audio Described with tactile floor indicators guiding you to tactile QR codes on the walls to encourage independent exploration of the exhibition and enable access to the audio descriptions.

Parking at the rear of the building, 2 access ramps, accessible toilets, cafe on site. Multiple bus routes and pedestrian lights to cross Magill Rd.

Artist Catherine stands in front of a large painting of apricots on white lace, landscape orientation. Her brown hair is cut in an asymmetrical bob. She looks directly at the camera, smiling and wears a geometrically patterned multicoloured jacket.
