This 3 week residency with fellow Water Ways 2019 artist Ursula Kiessling was just amazing! Station Arts at Beverley and Western Australia continues to inspire my work today. The Water Ways 2020 project grew out of the experiences and many conversations with people who generously shared their local knowledge and expertise with us.
I recently created ‘Wheatbelt’ limited edition book of my poems and paintings based on the residency which was chosen as a finalist in the 2021 Watershed Art Prize. A City of Salsibury initiative themed around water and sustainablility.
