People often call a collection of artists a group or a collaboration, but that’s not us. We are a friendship of artists, loosely bound by occasional lunches, coffee and when the work goes well, by champagne. Some of us have known each other for 30 years and some for 30 days – kindred spirits connected by our creativity.
Each of us has our own distinct artistic language and we have very diverse approaches to our work. Nevertheless, we are able to critique and appreciate one another’s art in very constructive ways.
Art is often a solitary pursuit and the encouragement and friendship of fellow artists is always delightful.
‘Who needs a theme’ is a diverse exhibition in glass, silk, oils, charcoal, acrylics, home wares, re-imagined materials and chocolate.
